Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management

Protecting People, Reducing Environmental Impact, and Enabling Sustainable Operations

At C.C.JENSEN, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management is an integrated part of how we operate our business - across development, production, and global activities. Our ambition is clear: to provide a safe and healthy workplace for our employees while actively reducing environmental impact and supporting the global transition towards lower emissions and more efficient use of resources.

A Structured Approach to Health, Safety & Environment

Our HSE management approach is rooted in prevention, responsibility, and continuous improvement. We work systematically to ensure safe working conditions, comply with applicable legislation, and reduce risks related to occupational health, safety, and environmental impact.

Health and safety are addressed through structured workplace assessments, clear internal rules, and an active occupational health and safety organisation. Employees are trained, involved, and encouraged to contribute to safer working practices, while internal emergency preparedness - including fire and first-aid teams - ensures rapid and effective response when needed.

From an environmental perspective, our focus is on reducing waste, energy consumption, and emissions -both within our own operations and through the solutions we deliver to customers. Our offline oil filtration technology contributes directly to lower oil consumption, fewer oil changes, reduced waste oil, and improved energy efficiency in machinery. These effects represent a significant environmental benefit over the lifetime of our solutions, particularly in the use phase, where the largest environmental impact occurs.

Environmental Responsibility in Practice

C.C.JENSEN actively invests in energy efficiency and renewable energy. All electricity consumption for Danish operations is covered by renewable sources, documented through certified wind power procurement. This supports our ambition to reduce scope 1 and 2 emissions and demonstrates our commitment to tangible environmental action - not offsets.

We believe that long-lasting filtration and extended oil lifetime represent one of the most effective ways to reduce environmental impact in industrial, marine, and energy applications. By reducing oil degradation, component wear, and unplanned maintenance, we help customers lower both operational costs and carbon emissions.

HSE as Part of Our ESG Commitment

HSE management is a core pillar of our broader ESG framework. Our efforts are documented, measured, and continuously evaluated as part of our annual ESG reporting, covering environmental performance, employee health and safety, and responsible business practices throughout the value chain. Transparency and data-driven decision-making ensure that we focus our efforts where they create the greatest impact.
